Rounds and tapers are the basic candles for all magickal purposes. The Goddess Shoppe on Line
carries a wide variety of these candles for ritual or everyday uses.  These candles are

12" Pearlescent Taper Candles
Taper Candles
These taper candles burn approximately 5 hours.  Use them to honor a special lord or lady by anointing the candle with their purpose oil.

 Taper Household Candles
This is the candle size used for most spells.  Burns approximately 6 hours.  Perfect for any 1 night to 5 night ceremonies or  gifts for sabot attendance,  You should keep a few of each color in stock at all times.

Charging  of a Candle
Sit in a quiet place that is special to you.  Most of the time this will be at your altar, but some times it may be outside under the light of the moon.  Hold the candle in your hands after anointing it with a purpose & visualize the area of your life in which this candle is needed. Hold your concentration for as long as possible.  Know that after you light this candle the energy you need will come to you. It may come right away, or it may come when you least expect it. When you are ready, recite the incantation you have prewritten (use your own words of power) on parchment paper or the words of power
from the book you are using.  After the work is done for the night (usually about 15 min. each night), SNUFF out your candle and return to it the next night around the same time.
